Many men have an unconscious fear of the feminine.

Many men have an unconscious fear of the feminine.
They have only known the woman who is domesticated. Controlled. Dutiful.
And he is disconnected from his own inner feminine. Told as a boy to toughen up. Suppressing emotions. Suppressing his heart.
So anything outside of the even keeled space feels unknown and unsafe.
He has yet to dance with true feminine.
She who is comfortable in all that she is. No longer hiding or suppressing parts of herself.

Ironically, it is the most masculine men who have healed their inner feminine.
Those that have remembered their heart.
They no longer fear the feminine within. Or the external feminine. They don’t seek to control, dominate, or assert their power.
For they have remembered the innate power that comes from within.

We often hear about women being in their masculine

We often hear about women being in their masculine energy.
Masculinised women.
And I was that woman in every aspect of my life and being.
So when I first began my healing journey and exploring the feminine, I was surprised that I needed to first spend time healing my inner masculine.
For I was operating from a distorted version of self.
One that had up false layers of protection.
Because she had to.
She felt the need to be in control.
The burden of responsibility.
An exterior confidence that was merely hiding her lack of self worth.
Her inner masculine was wounded.
And so was her relationship with the external masculine and men.
It was only when I built a strong inner authority through my inner masculine, that my body and being felt safe enough to remember the feminine.

The sacred feminine key 🔑

A remembering that came to me a few years ago now. I didn’t know what it was really or how I was to use it. I’ve changed the wording a bit and no doubt it will change again.

But I know now that it’s my guide.

My guide back home to myself.

My key to unlock who I am - at heart and soul level. Free from the shackles of life. Free from trauma. Free from conditioning. Free from the hurt and pain that I kept inside. Free from the unconscious way of being that I lived for so long.

And I’ve been walking this path for about 5 years now - consciously. But the journey began well before that without me even knowing.

This medicine path is one I choose. Not once. Not twice. But continuously.

This reel of photos are just a few moments in time that have led me to the here and now. There have been MANY what the fuck moments as well as many moments of grief, confusion, loneliness, and doubt.

But I would do it all over again.

To come out the other side more me than ever before.

8 - Reiki master attunement which cracked me open
9 - Solo vision quest which was a soul initiation
10 - Back into the corporate world after 3 years - so different because I’m so different
11 - With my drum - journeying into ancestral healing
12 - Belly dancing moments - reconnecting to the sensual sexy self
13 - Beach ritual remembering wisdom from within
14 - Moments with friends - bringing back so much laughter and fun
15 - Mum life with Boston the dog

Trust and surrender.
To the divine mystery of life.
It’s something that took me a long time to be able to lean back into.

What is the energy that is fueling your decisions?
For much of my life it was fear or control. If I didn’t know what was coming; I felt scared. Because I didn’t trust the flow of life. I didn’t trust that I would be ok particularly when things got hard.

So the ultimate act of surrender is trust.
Trust in the mystery of life.
And keeping following the call of your soul.
Your soul knows the way.

These past few weeks have led me down a path that I never (ever!) would’ve thought I would be taking. And yet, it all feels good and in alignment. I feel energized. Even though I have no idea where this path is leading me.
