Intimacy.
In • to • me • I • see

The inward spiral of getting to know myself has recently led me back to the word intimacy. - thanks @guidedwithkelly

-what does this word mean to me?
-what pieces of myself do i still hide?
-what do I still fear when it comes to true intimacy with another?

What keeps coming up is, we can only truly experience intimacy with another to the depth we have experienced it with ourselves.

In to me I see.

Intimacy begins with feeling safe and seen. And this begins within.

Your light, your dark, your strength, your vulnerability, your softness, your messiness, your rawness, your silliness.

The self that you are when you are alone, she is wanting to be present at all times. In all areas of your life.

And then can you trust another to be fully seen?

I feel like I have been through another awakening over the last few days 🤯 the veil lifted even further.

Accepting the truth of the way the world is right now feels heavy. But hold onto that hope. We are the change 🕯️

The world seems to be going crazy. Politics, religion, hate, divide, destruction.

It’s not just in other countries, it’s here on our home soil as well. More so now than ever.

I realized that the past few years of my life have very much been about self - I needed it and at some points I barely had capacity to get through my own life. But there comes a point where there needs to be something greater.

We are not separate.

The world needs us right now. The people need us. The planet needs us.

Now is not the time to be apathetic. To think it doesn’t concern me, because if you look close enough, you’ll find that it does.

Small things make all the difference. And it starts by how you live your life. How you show up. Whether or not you live from love or are you buying into the fear, hate and divide.

Change does start with self. And then it grows from there.
